Halal Certification & Our Standards
Our Halal Certification & Standards
At Divinity Collection, we believe beauty should never come at the cost of your values. That's why every nail polish we create is Australian Halal Certified, 18-Free, vegan, and cruelty-free — so you can wear your faith and your values with confidence.
🌙 What Does Halal Mean for Nail Polish?
Halal certification for nail polish is not about alcohol or food consumption — it's about ensuring the product is permeable to water, meaning water can pass through the polish film to reach the nail surface beneath.
This is essential for performing wudu (Islamic ritual ablution), which requires water to reach the entire surface of the hands and nails. Conventional nail polish creates a waterproof barrier that blocks this — our formula does not.
With just 2 coats of Divinity Collection nail polish, water permeability is achieved, making it valid for wudu according to Islamic guidelines.
🏅 Al-Amanah Halal Certification of Australia
Our nail polishes are officially certified by Al-Amanah Halal Certification of Australia — a recognised Australian halal certification body based in Villawood, NSW.
- Certificate Serial No: 2001
- Issued to: Divinity Collection
- Products certified: Divinity Collection Nail Polish & Vegan Lipsticks
- Certifying Officer: Abdulkadir Salad
🔬 Independent Permeability Testing
Our water permeability claims are backed by independent scientific testing conducted by TST Testing Technology Co., Ltd — a certified physical and chemical testing laboratory.
- Test Report No: TST2020010204EN
- Test Date: January 3, 2020
- Sample: Halal nail polish (Divinity Collection)
- Testing Period: Dec 27, 2019 – Jan 3, 2020
- Test Method: ISO22716:2007 Nail Polish (Type I)
- Result: 85% permeability — exceeds the 80–90% standard requirement ✅
- Signed by: Andy Zheng, Technical Director, TST Testing Technology Co., Ltd
This means our nail polish allows 85% of water to pass through the polish film — scientifically confirming it is suitable for wudu.
